BluePrint EnginesŪ was started 20 years ago in a small garage in central Nebraska.

What started as a passion for speed turned into a hobby then a job, and finally a career.

Our founder built one engine at a time for his friends and neighbors, and bit by bit his business and reputation grew.

Drag racers, circle track racers, and street rodders all got some of the first engines produced by BluePrint.

Most of us can relate to what happened next.

Babies, mortgages, and a need for financial security drove our founder into the mainstream.

Grocery-getters were easier to sell to a LOT more people.

His success in that endeavor is also legendary.

Today the company he founded has produced over 200,000 factory replacement engines for cars and light trucks.

This web site is a return to the roots of the company.

We have a tremendous staff of qualified technicians who have a passion for performance -- on the job and on the street.

If you have been shopping, keep in mind that most crate engines DON'T come as complete as the premium engines on our site.

Only OUR premium crate engines come complete with fuel system, ignition system, plugs, wires, and the water and fuel pumps.

Also keep in mind that you can get either forged or cast components on most models.

Most of our buyers are spending a lot of time on their car.
